Whether you combine the dies with the Foam Front Card kits or use the Foam and Acetate Refill Sheets, the dies make it quick and easy to create shaker cards in any color combination you can dream up. I used some Queen and Co paper to hand cut a little Christmas tree, decorated it with some Pearls and filled the shaker with white Pearlies for a snowy look.
But, you can use the same die to create a “shadow box” card.
I simply cut several pieces of pink cardstock with the same oval Foam Front die and layered them on top of each other. I adhered it on top of a white 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and topped it with a piece of Queen and Co patterned paper cut into the same shape. I added the sentiment and some embellishments.
No need to cover with acetate because there are no shaker goodies, it just has a fun dimensional look and is a great way to get more use out of your dies!
