Mary-Ann Maldonado here with a fun boy layout! It just so happens he is wearing an orange shirt for this photo, so I decided play on that color. (No one was hurt in the capture of this photo!!! The boy did not connect with the other boys face!! lol)
When plotting my attack, I decided to stick with a basic color palette, design and grid-ish layout.
For the frame around my white cardstock, I cut 1 inch strips of papers, applied them behind leaving a 1/2 inch overhang.
I unintentionally created a big yellow present in the center of the page. I used lots of tops cut off of the larger die. To avoid waste, I placed only the ribbons and a little of the square overlapping the paper. I cut this several times and then created a ribbon explosion!
Staying with the same color theme, I made a couple presents. The only thing that was not included in the Pretty Presents Shaker Kit was the red Iridescent Sparkle string around the red present.
