Oh, Christmas Tree!

Oh, Christmas Tree!

Hello everyone,
Kim here with another project using the fabulous tag die & foam shaker set

As you can clearly see my page today is Christmas themed 🎄 , and totally inspired by the pieces left over after making a whole bunch of green tags cut from the Dots Paper Pad. I challenged myself to use them up in a creative way & came up with this idea.

"Waste not want not", as my Grandma used to say.

Joy & a Warm Wish by Kim Watson

Take nine inner tag pieces and overlap two at a time into 'ribbon' shapes making sure to overlap them more & more as you progress up the tree. Once placed together, you will have created a Christmas tree shape. Trim a piece of green cardstock and stick it down the center of the 'ribbon' pieces, securing them together. A charcoal piece shaped into a stump finishes, off the tree nicely.

Now decorate the tree with a selection of colorful donut bling resembling baubles. Aren't they just adorable?[/]

For the rest of the page, cut out the shapes I have provided as a FREE cut file, using the 'O' of JOY as a frame for your photo. Take the festive light cut file & fill the individual globes with small pieces of patterned paper from the Dots Paper Pad. Now cut the 'wish' sentiment in turquoise, doesn't it look just amazing teamed with the hot pink?

Scatter white cardstock snowflakes around the page & add a few embellishments to complete your festive layout. Once again, Queen & Company products are versatile & easy to use no matter what the occasion.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend!
