Layering Ribbon

Layering Ribbon

Good morning!  Laurie S. here to share some more cards that I created using the new CandyLand Kit!

For my first card, I started by tearing strips form three different patterned papers from the included 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I die cut two of the round candy jars (LOVE these so much) from white cardstock.  I sponged half of them with some coordinating ink.  I stamped some pink gumballs on the blue candy jar and turned the one on the right into a shaker card.

With all of the items needed to create a shaker card included in the kit, these are so easy to put together!  I added some various toppings (also included in the kit) inside and then glued a few on top to make it look like they were spilling out.

I stamped and die cut the Love is Sweet sentiment for the left candy jar and added a little tag with the Hey Sweetie sentiment for the one on the right.

What could be more fun than a whole pile of brightly colored candy?  :-)  For my second card, I die cut the wrapped candy shape out of five different patterned papers (from the included 6 x 6 Paper Pad).  After adhering them to my card, I added some coordinating toppings to each candy piece as embellishment.
